DG-1F
A 3-DoF articulated vacuum gripper that adjusts suction position and orientation for reliable picking in constrained and unstructured environments.
The DG-1F is a 3-DoF articulated vacuum gripper designed to improve suction-based picking in environments where object position, orientation, or surrounding constraints make stable vacuum contact difficult. Unlike conventional fixed vacuum grippers, its multi-joint structure allows the suction fingertip to adjust its position and orientation to approach target surfaces more effectively.
By adapting the gripper itself to the picking environment, the DG-1F can reduce the need to reposition, align, or otherwise modify surrounding objects before suction. This makes it well suited for logistics piece picking, material handling, and other applications involving objects that are suitable for vacuum gripping but difficult to access with a fixed suction mechanism. An external vacuum source is required for operation.
Articulated Vacuum Gripping
The articulated suction mechanism allows the fingertip to adjust its position and orientation to achieve more effective contact with target surfaces. This enables reliable vacuum picking in confined spaces and environments where conventional fixed suction grippers may have difficulty reaching the desired contact point.
Compact and Lightweight Design
The compact single-finger articulated mechanism provides three degrees of freedom while maintaining a lightweight 710 g design. Its small form factor makes it well suited for installation on robot arm end-effectors and for operation in space-constrained environments.
Multi-Protocol Communication and Integration
Supports Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet TCP/IP communication, enabling straightforward integration with a wide range of industrial robots, automation equipment, and control systems.
High-Speed Precision Control
A 1,000 Hz control cycle provides fast motion response, while absolute-encoder-based position feedback enables precise and repeatable joint positioning for demanding picking tasks.
